Danielle’s career as a graphic design and marketing professional spans over 20 years. Currently, she is Senior Designer and Principal of Banana Creative (www.bananacreative.com), a design firm that brings together strategic vision, business insight, and creative talent to deliver high-impact print, digital and promotional marketing initiatives. One of Danielle’s most recent successes includes a direct marketing campaign which received a 15% response rate, the highest in the client’s history. Some clients include Fremont Bank, FrontRange Solutions, Genentech, Inc., and Holiday Inn Express. Banana Creative is also a certified, Women-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) and a certified, Bay Area Green Business.
Before starting her own firm in 2000, Danielle was Senior Designer and Manager for The PMI Group, Inc., the third largest mortgage insurer in North America, where she supported corporate and national sales offices, led an in-house team of creative staff, and designed several business-building, award-winning campaigns.
Prior to joining PMI, Danielle designed editorial features and advertising campaigns for a large publishing company in the East Bay. Here, she received the prestigious Employee of the Year Award for initiating a new electronic process of transmitting artwork to the main printing facility, which saved the company thousands of dollars in expenses.
Danielle received a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design from the University of California at Davis, with a minor in Psychology.
